[1.6.4]WHEN GO TO TEST I KEEP GETTING CRASH ERROR

I am trying to learn how to make mods but i keep having this error and i don't know how to fix it.

The error is stating that cant load the the menu screen texture, so the questions are

did you alter any or the source code at all?

did you properly install mcp?

And did you delete any files that were installed?

If your answers in order are no, yes, no then it means that didnt do anythink wrong, it just installed bad.

if you did change the source code, dont, it makes your mod incompatable with other mods.

If you dont know if you installed mcp correctly, you should search for a tutorial on how to.

If you did delete any files that were installed, though it doesnt really effect the end product of your mod, it makes it harder to test it.

 

In the end, the answer is the same. Reinstall mcp.

 

P.S. in the topic please remember to put the minecraft version you are working with and some things do actually change betweek updates. For example in the title of this topic you should start it with [1.6.4]

Use the recommended builds, not the latest ones ;)

The latest are indev versions and might be highly unstable, they are not suited for learning to mod.

And the current latest is especially not meant for beginners as it's the first indev release for 1.7 and full of under development stuffs.

 

So go use the recommended build(s) mate ;)

      I found Bedrock_Miner's old site and I was interested in the Furnace Minecart Inventory mod. But all the links to the mod files are dead, there were apparently no uploads to other sites either, so the only hope is that the mods were saved on someone's cloud or disk. If someone remembers that perhaps downloaded them in the first half of the 10's, I will be glad if someone to share them. https://web.archive.org/web/20151227195157/http://bedrockminer.jimdo.com/mods/furnace-minecart-inventory#expand
