Posted January 4, 201411 yr Hello everyone. Im currently installing MCP and Forge 1.7.2 using the gradlew.bat as i type this. I occasionally dont have direct internet access, so i was wondering, if i download all the required files from a separate computer (Gradle, minecraft assets, etc.), would it be possible to decompile Minecraft (using gradlew.bat) without internet access? Thanks for reading. ~Geforce Potato's have skin. I have skin. Therefore, i am a potato. Follow me on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/I_Mod_Minecraft
January 4, 201411 yr Internet access should only be required for the first run, after that offline runs should work fine. It's a bit complicated to build the cache manually, so I won't go into that. Basically, you just want to run it online at least once for each Forge version you're trying to work with. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. June 13, 201411 yr Hi GeForce and LexManos, Thanks for bringing this topic up. I just want to clarify some queries I have. On a Windows PC, to transfer/copy the gradle cache and the eclipse workspace to another PC, I believe I just need to make a copy of the following folders: Users\<UserName>\.gradle Copy of MineForge source folder Is this correct or have I missed something? What is the equivalent in a Mac? Many thanks, CT
