I want to commission a Copper tools and armor mod

Hi! I’m looking to commission a custom Minecraft mod for version 1.19.2 on Forge. I want to have a balanced Copper tools and armor mod that snugly fits the copper tier between the  Stone/ Chainmail and Iron Tiers. Here are the stats I have planned:

- Copper Helmet: 2 Armor Points, 121 Durability
- Copper Chestplate: 5 Armor Points, 2 Armor Toughness, 177 Durability
- Copper Leggings: 4 Armor Points, 2 Armor Toughness, 165 Durability
- Copper Boots: 2 Armor Points, 143 Durability
- Copper Tools: Same Efficiency, but 0.5 less damage than Iron Tier, and 181 Durability for each tool. I only want to add the basic tools such as a sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, and hoe.

Please let me know of any balancing changes you would make and where I could go right now to commission such a mod.

Its can be done in like 20 minutes, no? Like literally, if go most basic with no like "oxidation" on tools or armor, and just use vanilla like textures for tools and armor(like iron but just copper colored) it will take a few lines of code. Like even I am can do this, in few hours.

I have essentially no coding experience, so I thought even this would be too much for me to handle. If it really is as simple as you say it is, do you know any good resources so I can get started?

Kaupenjoe on YT, but his tutorials not always the best way. Like, if you want to, I could do basic copper set, it will take not so much time.

Thank you! I’m going to try and learn how to make my own mods, since I’m also planning on creating a turtle armor mod, but I would greatly appreciate it if you did so aswell. All of my modpacks are on Forge 1.19.2. I like the non-waxed textures from the Copper Equipment mod (link below), and I only really need armor and tools, so no buckets, shears, horse armor, etc. Finally, I want the recipes to just use vanilla copper ingots.

    • This is the first server I've ever created, and this is the first time I've played with mods, so I have no idea what I'm doing or how to fix what is happening. As the title says when my friends and I tried going to the nether we all crashed maybe three minutes later, every time we tried to come back on it's crash again and we had to one by one leave the nether as quick as possible. I tried again on my own to see if it was an issue of all of us being in the nether causing issues, or if it was something else, and even when it was just me on the server standing next to the portal in the nether it crashed. Here's the crash log, no idea what to make of this. If I understand it correctly the midnight lurker is the one causing the issue, but I don't know how to fix it.
