KrysEmlyn Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 My server's log file picked up an oddity this morning after one of my users logged off: Reveal hidden contents 2014-01-12 10:30:33 [iNFO] [sTDOUT] 10011101011001110101111011101100011000001010111100011111110011101111001011001111111111101010010010100011010100000111111100111010110010101001000100101101000001111111100000100010111001100011Unloading Player: <player>* *playername withheld My question is what caused this string of what appears to be binary to appear like this? The user logged out of the server in the normal manner, Escape -> Disconnect. This is the first time I've ever seen this as a server operator for Minecraft and I've been running this server out of my computer for the last 3-4 years or so. Further information of server configuration: - Running Forge build #965 - Server is run through the Windows console (NoGUI) If you need more information, please ask and I will try to provide the missing pieces. Thanks, Krys Emlyn Quote
LexManos Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 No clue what the binary is it probably is just random jibberish to make the message stand out so the modder can see it during debug. So i'd chalk this up to a debug message some modder left into a mod you're using. Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. KrysEmlyn Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 Thanks, Lex. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have a damaged server or something. I'll query the user about what he was doing at the time of logout to see if it was something they did. Otherwise, I'll just ignore it. Quote
