Hello, my sound in my dev environment is not working. I have my volume turned to max in game and through the sound panel. I would appreciate it if someone can help because my mod uses sounds and I cant test them if it won't play. I get this error when I start the game:

Don't be afraid to ask question when modding, there are no stupid question! Unless you don't know java then all your questions are stupid!

Sound works in the Forge version that I have, so I think you should get that one.

    • Thanks, I've now installed a slightly newer version and the server is at least starting up now.

    • The crash points to moonlight lib - try other builds or make a test without this mod and the mods requiring it
    • Do you have shaders enabled? There is an issue with the mod simpleclouds - remove this mod or disable shaders, if enabled
    • Maybe you need to create file in assets/<modid>/items/<itemname>.json with content like this:   { "model": { "type": "minecraft:model", "model": "modname:item/itemname" } }
