I searched, but couldn't find an issue for this.  I do have a few of my own mods installed on the server, but they in no way touch the map code.  I actually found the issue in a bug tracker for some server http://jira.ginever.net/browse/AMC-416 .

So, I constructed a map fine but when I right clicked to activate it, I get the following error.

Here's the rest of the details it spit out:

I would say, try without the other mods besides Forge.

Something is causing things to deobfuscate fully.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Here's the console log. What I did was that I created a flat world in creative mode, took out an empty map and right clicked.

This crash stills appearing in 1.7.2-10.12.0.1020

Heres my repport in 1.7.2-10.12.0.1020 w/o(without) using any mod:

I think it could be related to a maps update in 1.7.2 with frames. (Same idea than Cartographer)

Yes, it's a known issue and will be fixed, however, waiting on cpw to do it as it's a issue in FML specifically. We change the data type of a variable to support >256 dimension ids. So we need to change a reference to that variable it'll be pushed to Forge soon
