As the title below says, I can't run newer minecraft versions. It only allows me to run 1.16.5 and below, only just older versions are the one's I can play. 

Listed below is the latest log when I tried running a newer version of minecraft, 1.20.1

When I start to try to load a newer version of minecraft it says, "launching game." Then it says "kill instance" 5 seconds later and then stops it from even starting minecraft.

Do you use AMD/ATI?

If yes, get the drivers from their website - do not update via system
