Hi, I'm rolphoe2 and I got windows 8.1 for my pc. Since then whenever i open the install.bat to install the parts needed, it freezes at a time and won't continue at all. I got java, java jdk and eclipse, but still not working.

    what if you are just impatient and its just taking abnormally long :P

     

    Honestly, if you are sure, then I think it is something about your PATH that windows 8 fk-ed up

    Well, there are a few ways around this...

    actually. not a few, only one I can think of.

     

    Install it manually.

    See the resource files you need, yeah manually download those and put those in ForgeGradle.

    Yes, it just stops and then nothing showing up. And 1.6.4 forge doesn't use gradle that's for 1.7.2.

    I have errors at gradle too, when i type gradlew.bat setupDecompWorkspace in command prompt.

    Nevermind, a program was causing that error. I figured it when i uninstalled that program and had the idea to try again running the forge source. It's working now ty everyone for using your time to try to help me.
