Minecraft forge mods

I have minecraft forge installed, java installed, and all the mods are unzip. But the mods don't show up in game, and im pretty sure they are in the right folder.

Difficulty with a forge mod

I very much appreciate the advice! Regarding some of your suggestions:

I actually have no desire to publish the mod as an artifact, but even after tinkering with the gradle files for a long while, I could not get it to simply publish a local jar, I think that this is in large part because the mod is importing gradle files from somewhere and I was having trouble either finding these files to modify them or to eliminate the need for these files entirely.

This seems like a solid route to go! I have not a ton of understanding of much of this, but knowing what to look into to begin with is 90% of the battle in a lot of cases (you do not know what you do not know after all). I think I have one more idea as to how I could get the mod compiled without having to do this (seeing as I can run the client I figure it must be storing compiled files SOMEWHERE), but I think I will give this a shot afterwards assuming my little plan does not work out.

Anyway to Contact the Mod Creator and let him know? Cause id love to use it in 1.21.10, or have you found a fix for it?
