Man, this is driving me crazy.

I know that all ChatComponents have been moved to IChatComponent, and the problem is...

how do I use sendChatToPlayer()?

There is a sendChatMessage() in EntityClientPlayerMP, but it makes the it show up as:

<PLAYERNAME> text from sendChatMessage()

Help? Any advice towards this would be appreciated :)

Are you just trying to put a message in a player's chat?

It looks like you have an EntityPlayerMP, so what you can do is:

EntityPlayerMP epmp = Whatever it is equal to;
if (epmp instanceof EntityPlayer){ //Can epmp be turned into a player? (Won't throw an error if false)
EntityPlayer player = (EntityPlayer) epmp; //Turn epmp into a player. (Would throw an error if it didn't work)
player.addChatMessage("This is the message you will send to the player!");
}

That's exactly the problem (addChatMessage()) is removed.

If you can read the whole entire page, maybe you would understand more...

 player.addChatComponentMessage(new ChatComponentTranslation("blah.random.comment"));
