I just downloaded Minecraft Forge 1.7.2 latest version.

After i downloaded all the gradlew.bat things and started eclipse everything is ok. But it says in the "error field"

Description Resource Path Location Type

Project 'Minecraft' is missing required library: 'C:\Users\Modding\Desktop\Modding\unresolved dependency - org.apache.commons commons-lang3 3.1' Minecraft Build path Build Path Problem

I've tried all kinds of tutorials but this always happends!

Rerun the setup something borked your download of apache comms, which shouldn't happen as it's a standard library.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Yeah im having that issue but every time I click on the adf.ly or direct link window "This page can't be displayed"

Don't hijack threads, and our servers are up, check your net.

Did you install Forge as modloader?

For modding, maybe use a custom Launcher like Curseforge

Basically when I manually put the mods into my PC it doesn't show the mods I thought it was my PCs problem so I used my phone(mojo louncher) and same issue it doesn't show the mods

Yes. 1.21.11. Unfortunately, the edit button is not working for me.

(Never mind, the edit link in the ... works)

If I can't use vanilla, that's fine. I'd be curious to know why as it was working for 1.21.10 but ultimately, I won't complain because the mods are handy. Moreso just reporting to possibly help others.

Just to be definitive though, is unmodded forge supposed to be compatible with vanilla or is that basically unsupported?

That actually appears to have solved the problem, I deleted the soul_archive.json file and I can actually load the world, the only thing I appear to have lost is my achievements which i can live without tbh lol, I really appreciate all the help! Thank you so much!!

I really appreciate it! Weirdly the soul_archive.json appears to just be empty when i open it up there isn't any text so I'll just try deleting the file, I'll let you know how it goes
