Hey Everyone,

I've created a custom rendered Block using a TileEntityCustomRenderer.

That's no problem, the block is rendered in the world but the model is a lot larger than the block and if the block isn't in my FOV but some parts of the model are, the model isn't rendered.

I've seen this before at the RivalRebels mushroom cloud, but don't know how to fix that.

block.setBounds

 

The bounding box is what's used to determine if the block is inside your view.  If your model is bigger than the bounds, then of COURSE it'll stop rendering when the bounds leave the view.  That's what it's FOR.

 

Now, if you have a block/model that's significantly larger than 1 cube, you should break it up into multiple blocks (you can still have it be one item in the player's inventory, but as far as the World is concerned it's actually several blocks, think pistons).

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
