I want to order a minecraft server hosting package, I'll play with about ~50-60 mods, and 3 players all the time.

What is the minimum RAM that I should go with ?

Thanks in advance!

One hundred BAJILLION terrabytes!

No seriously thats a stupid question it would depend on the load, depend on the specific mods etc...

You'll have to try it out and see.

Also once you start getting into more and more mods, the issue becomes cpu time not ram.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I'm not playing with high intense mods (ic2, buildcraft), I'm playing CrazyCraft modpack ( orespawn, mutant creatures... ) , should 1.5 gb be enough?

well use 2GB ram and if it starts to lagg try to use 3GB and as Lex said the cpu time is the issue most time. If cpu time becomes the problem then try closing some applications while playing or running the server like Steam, Skype etc.

As I said, I'm going to use a hosting service, so I don't need to worry about other services, and I'm not using any high intense CPU mods, so I don't need to worry about that. I'll start with 1.5gb, and expend if that's not enough!

Thanks!

If you're running a mod pack, then the mod pack would be the place to ask as they *should* know the basic details of what the mods in there pack require.
