Greetings all, first time poster but long time player and watcher of all things Forge. After finding myself with a fair bit of extra time and a good understanding of Java, I was wondering about the general opinion of the Forge community on a mod idea I had been noting away at for the past half a year to see if it would be feasible.

In essence, it's an adaptation of d20 tabletop mechanics into a comprehensive mod, I guess along the lines of an rpg mod but with a larger expanse into a certain feel of a fantasy universe. Things I have thought about and intend on throwing in would be such mechanics as handedness of weapons, hit & miss with appropriate damage due to armor values, and all sorts of buffs and debuffs available through class features and a wide assortment of spells.

I'm curious on what you all would think of the development of such a mod and I'm open to any opinions and input you may have. Craft yourselves a good time and Mine on!

It seems like a nice idea... but will you do by yourself some special models oraz items to your mod? Dont get me wrong, mechanics its only beginning. I think making such mode, if you do it alone, will take you very long time. Do you certain you are gonna make it alive? Cause this is very ambitious mod.

I think you should go for it. If I knew more java myself i'd say i'd help you out because this seems like a great idea!
