Posted June 25, 201411 yr As of current, set up by the tutorial I followed, Forge (dev) is instructed to ignore minecraft validity and give me a random playername (e.g. Player145). Is there a / what is the way to tell Forge (dev) to log me in as my username? http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/y523/textcraft/Jun%202014%20-%202/a77dd69ddfa9e622422c5e5cd7e377b14d5cdedec1b7a8e19dde68c9e22be6dfbf81219d3893f419da39a3ee5e6b4b0d3255bfef95601890afd8070929aa338b0dfc68d48355_zps0c847cf3.png[/img] I have a reputation for text walls. If you ask me a question I will most likely explain it in the most wordy way possible. -0 characters left
June 25, 201411 yr I am not positive but in the arguments section of your run configurations (the tab next to the run button) you should be able to use -username=<yourusername> and i think that will log you in.
June 25, 201411 yr I think the correct parameter is --username <username> Where <username> should be your username. Check out my tutorials here: http://jabelarminecraft.blogspot.com/
June 25, 201411 yr @Jabelar, you would be create. But if you are actually wanting to validate the credentials... I am not sure how you do that. We all stuff up sometimes... But I seem to be at the bottom of that pot.
June 25, 201411 yr I log in with my username and password using the following arguments. --version 1.6 --tweakClass cpw.mods.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker --username <username> --password <password> I am the author of Draconic Evolution
