"There was a fatal error starting up Minecraft and FML. Minecraft cannot launch in it's current configuration."

Another mod named Pixelmon requires forge, and this is my first time installing. I hope there's enough info in this to get me help (or at least not banned?...).  Should be noted that the process I went through was putting forge in the .jar, then closing, then putting Pixelmon into the .jar. This was the instructions specified which work for others. This error occurs when launching Minecraft, when the FML (appropriate name) starts up. It's not even at the same progress each time, either. First time, 93%. Second time, 100%. Third time, like 18%. A google search of the error message didn't bring up any results that helped.

This mentions Somnia, a mod I had for a previous version for Minecraft, but should no longer be in the jar
