Hi, i was setting up my own modpack for singleplayer (no multiplayer server) with several mods (below 50 count).

It's start up pretty well, till i made a new world (Default world)

I had several tech mods like IC2, TE, and so on. It's been ok when i test it out, but with lowest graphical setting: short render, smooth lighting off ; and i experienced lag spikes. Then i tried to add Optifine 1.6.4 HD U D1 to free the lag spikes and it shows this crash report:

Feel free to ask for other information you need.

Very need for some advice, whether should i add Optifine or not, because before i add Optifine it run normally but had some lag spikes. Or even you guys had some tips to remove the lag spikes? Thanks ;D

NB: I used 32-bit Windows7 and 32-bit Java

Please give me some ways to minimize/remove the spikes(happened every 1-2secs when i moving around)...

If someone can explain to me, why is lag spikes occurs and what's the differences with other lag, I'd be graceful :)

Thanks

Edit: RAM allocation on minecraft launcher is 1GB, can't add more because my total is only 2GB RAM, and i run 32-bit Java on 32-bit Windows

You may simply not be able to run many mods, depending on how the mods are written they could use a lot of memory.

And those 'lag spikes' could be java cleaning up the memory so that other parts can use it.

Without any additional information such as logs or memory graphs, we can't determine anything.

As for optifine, it it not recommended that you use it alongside forge. it has mixed benefits, so try without it.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I can provide logs (do you mean launcher console logs?). For memory graphs, do you mean the one at Task Manager while running minecraft? If yes i can post it too by image?

Before i added Optifine i'd already try to run a world with lowest settings(graphical, and tiny render), and with or without Optifine it seems i can't see a major difference on how the lag occur, i think it's same.
