Posted August 10, 201411 yr In the process of updating my mods to 1.7, I have run into two barriers with the changes to the FakePlayer class. Both of these stem from the fact the get() function now requires WorldServer, GameProfile instead of the previous World, String. What this then means is that in the cases where I only have the string name of the player, or wish to get a FakePlayer clientside, I have no means to do so. How would I do this? August 11, 201411 yr To get a players' game profile instance, use world#getPlayerEntityByName(the_name_you_want_to_use_as_a_string)#getGameProfile() Don't ask for support per PM! They'll get ignored! | If a post helped you, click the "Thank You" button at the top right corner of said post! | mah twitter This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.
