IntelliJ IDEA Minecraft Launch Error

Hello everyone! :) I have recently got into the whole idea of modding and I ran into Pahimar's Lets Mod Reboot tutorial series. I decided for learning purposes I would go ahead and try out IntelliJ IDEA, the IDE he said that he likes to use now instead of Eclipse.

When launching Minecraft to make sure I have all of the files installed correctly, I get this error in the terminal:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Seth\.gradle\caches\minecraft\assets\indexes\{ASSET_INDEX}.json (The system cannot find the file specified)

... 7 more

I have even ran gradlew clean --refresh-dependencies in the command prompt to update outdated files like he said to do for someone with the same problem as I have, and I'm still getting the error message.

Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance! :)
