I've been watching SCmowns tutorial on how to make a forge mod and I noticed at

18:50 he tells us to go into srcs, minecraft. But I dont see a "minecraft" file in mine, what should i do??

Post a screenshot. Are you using eclipse? If he means to browse the source code, look in the forge jar under referenced libraries.

That tutorial is extremely outdated, I would recommend you follow a different video, unless you want to make a mod for 1.5.

Well... I guess he has some inefficient techniques of doing things, but the key is weather you understand what he is doing or not. He does explain what he is doing well, so it shouldn't be too hard.
