October 20, 201410 yr You can either recode the lighning system to support lightsources other than blocks (like DynamicLights by AtomicStryker did it) or set down an invisible block which gives off light. October 20, 201410 yr Author is either preferable or do they result in roughly the same amount of processing? Doing it the "Dynamic Lights" way would most likely be more efficient, but requires a pretty hacky coremod. I don't recommend it. why not?
