Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to change the chests in Desert Temples to Trapped Chests for my devious purposes.  8)

Thanks,

Some kind of worldgen event; just replace chests with trapped chests. Im not sure what event though since i've never used worldgen events.

Looked around and didn't see a WorldGen event for Desert Temples.  Am I missing it?

I dont have access to the src at the minute, but i think what you do is check for some pattern of blocks that would only exist in a temple and set the blocks relative to that.

Ok, I've trolled through so many events it hurts.  Has anyone actually done something like this before?  If so, how?

World has a method called findNearestStructure(), I have never used it but I think this can help you.

If you find out what the good String is, you may be able to locate desert temples and replace the chests.
