Max mob bounding box size?

Hi,

So I've created a new mob that has visual dimensions of 5x17. I used the this.setSize(5F, 17F); in the main constructor. When I go in game and hit F3+B it shows the correct bounding box for the mob. However, when I actually try and hit the mob, it only has a bounding box of 5x5x6ish (so just only 6 blocks tall).

I can also place blocks inside of the higher parts that appear in the bounding box shown at F3+B but not at the lower parts.

What exactly is going on here?

That's weird. As far as I know, the F3+B should show the actual bounding box and as we all know for entities there is only the one bounding box, shared for pathfinding and hit box.

Try replacing implementation with minecraftLibrary. Dependencies in the minecraftLibrary configuration are added to your compile and runtime classpaths in ForgeGradle 6.

Allocated 10 Gb of ram. Could try again with more but I read using too much can slow things down as well. Going to try another big modpack and see if i can replicate the problem. It seems like this cartographer problem is kind of popular and doesn't have a solid solution yet, but i suspect its some generation mod since it's a crash that happens when specific chunks are being loaded. so i'll still try to lookout for what mod it could be as i add. i'll report back after testing as you suggested for a bit

I have no idea - is enough RAM allocated?
Do other pre-configured modpacks work? Maybe use such a modpack as working base and add new mods one by one

The settings.gradle file has been fixed. But, the build.gradle has an error now.
