modification to a mod (volunteer work)

Recommended Posts

Hey! I really like this "Dayz mod" by this guy "http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1290149-1-2-5-1-7-2-forge-dayz-minecraft-100000-downloads" but I would really like it if they zombies could like... SLOWLY claw through the wood and cobble stone to get to you. but only if its like a single block thick. to encourage thick shelters. Im using 1.6.4 for my server I use the mod one and I was hoping someone might know java and be willing to make the zombies do that. that would be awesome if someone could!

Idk if modifying HIS stuff is allowed. but maybe a second mod that messes with his would be... im using forge version

So pleaaaase help! ill be your best friend! :)

All I can tell you is that treating those blocks as pathable (and diggable by mobs) is a non-trivial task.

There's a 1.6.4 mod, Invasion Mod, that did have this, but they had to implement their own pathfinder, and so on.  There's an incomplete update for 1.7 available here.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
