[1.7.10] Creating custom particles.

Hi, I recently learned how to summon particles in the world. But I was wondering, how do I make my own particle type? I've looked on Google but with no luck. Thanks in advance.

//sends the particle

Just a note: You don't always need packets. And also: that packet system is inefficient at best.
