How to add loot to dungeon chests?

I've been looking around, but I can't find any good tutorials for adding dungeon loot. I have an item that is very hard to craft (its actually pointless to craft) and I wanted to add it to dungeon chests. I looked at DungeonHooks but I don't think it works with 1.7.2

any help is appreciated.
