Custom block does what it wants

I have a custom block which rotates depending on players direction but sometimes it doesnt give a poop and rotates in the direction it wants and when it wants

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Where ever you bloody need it.  Seriously.  You want to know the block's metadata?  Get it.  Want to change it?  Set it.  The code snippet I posted is a chunk of code from my own project that is not useful to you except as a demonstration of how that function works.
