Posted January 31, 201510 yr Hey everybody, so I'm not exactly new to programming, but I am new to modding minecraft and I have some interesting ideas for a mod I want to create. It's a decent sized project so I'm just going to start with all the minor/easier things first so I can wet my feet before jumping in. To put it bluntly, the first thing I want to do is change the properties of vanilla blocks. Things like make wool non-flammable and blast resistant. I know how to do these things for custom blocks, but I don't really want to make a new custom block for every structure I build. I tried looking this up, but I only found things slightly similar or completely outdated. The help is appreciated, thanks for taking the time to help me!
