Is there any way to increase the armor cap value from :

 

total 25 = 100% protection  --> to total 50 = 100% protection

(or if you prefer : 20 = 80% --> to 40 = 80 %) ?

    No those values are defined by vanilla.

    Also, you could look into the Special armor system for adds.
