Block break event

hi :)

i'm new with forge modding and i would like to understand a little ^^

i'm trying to make an addon for a mod

i made a tool that when right clicked on a block remove a 3x3 area and drop the destroyed blocks, but there are compatibility issues with anti-griefing things (like towny)

it's possible to make it call the block break event (that towny should recognize) before destroying blocks?

Ok, I'm gonna stop now.

Nah, should have gone one more. :P

(OP: hint: "can I?" and "how can I?" are two very different questions)

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.

The flow of logic you need is rather simple,

When picking the middle block and it breaks, a blockBreakEvent is triggered, in that event find the surrounding blocks do your check logic and break them in code. If you go though the same breaking mechanism minecraft has implemented other mods should not complain.

Steps in a list

[*]Listen on break event

[*]Find surrounding blocks and apply check logic

[*]Break the discovered blocks

I require Java, both the coffee and the code :)
