Posted February 6, 201510 yr I've never used forge gradle before so I followed a guide. I went into the folder that contains my src folder and ran the comand gradlew.bat build this placed a directory in the build folder but as far as I could tell no .jar file containing my mod. so I compressed the build folder and tried to launch with that. and it crashed for java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: I googled it but i couldn't find any guides that explained what I did wrong or how I should have done it. *ps I didn't know where this should be so if this isn't the place for it I'm sorry*
February 6, 201510 yr Ha Ha! You guys have to type gradlew.bat build While I have to only type in gradle build. Thats exactly 5 characters shorter. Installing gradle and not using the wrapper saves so much time in the long run. I'm back from being gone for... I think its been about a year. I'm pretty sure nobody remembers me, but hello anybody who does!
February 6, 201510 yr Ha Ha! You guys have to type gradlew.bat build While I have to only type in gradle build. Haha! You have to type! I made a batch file and just double-click Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
