Posted February 8, 201510 yr Good afternoon, I would like to know how can I make my block break when removed the block that is just below it, my friend and I tried a few things but nothing worked, you have any idea? http://i.imgur.com/ZT2C1L9.png[/img]
February 8, 201510 yr Or check that the block below does not have a solid top surface. Passions could push a non-air block under it. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice. Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked. DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
February 8, 201510 yr Author Use onNeighbourBlockChanged, check if the block below you is air. If so, remove the block. Thank you friend, for those who have the same doubts I used the following code: @Override public void onNeighborBlockChange(World world, int x, int y, int z, Block block) { if(world.getBlock(x, y - 1,z) == Blocks.air) { world.setBlockToAir(x, y, z); } super.onNeighborBlockChange(world, x, y, z, block); } http://i.imgur.com/ZT2C1L9.png[/img]
February 8, 201510 yr That would outright destroy your block (which is fine, snow layer does this). If you wanted it to drop stuff (torch, tall grass, etc.) you'd want to make the block break instead.
