help running forge environment required - no mods loaded yet

the following is returned when i choose forge and press play in my launcher. I followed all instructions to the letter but it didn't say what to do next. get the same problem whether i install as client or server as it's before minecraft loads and the single/multi player choice is available. I'm not stupid, just not been involved with anything like this before, no idea where to start.  :-\
