1.8 Forge

Okay, so I am running on a mac, and every time I open Minecraft forge installer, an error pops up saying that it cannot be opened because the file is damaged or incomplete. So I extracted the versions .json file and made a new 1.8 version. I put the .json file in, renamed it to the id in the file, then I renamed the jar and the folder to the same name. Lastly, I put the contents of the forge folder, that I extracted from the installer, into the 1.8 jar file. I open Minecraft, and select the forge version. I push play, the bar loads, and nothing happens, I push play once more, and again nothing. I restarted Minecraft and my computer, and still nothing. Here is the Launcher log:
