[1.7.10] [SOLVED!] Need to send a packet to update the client on the client.

I know the title is confusing but, basically I have a shop which is a GuiScreen. This GuiScreen opens when you right click the block (I have tried some things with the TileEntity to no avail). I really need to update the the coin amount or else it doesn't register. Any ideas?

I am not a cat. I know my profile picture is sexy and amazing beyond anything you could imagine but my cat like features only persist in my fierce eyes. I might be a cat.

I actually figured it out. xD After an hour, I found out by doing

 EntityPlayer player = (EntityPlayer)FMLCommonHandler.instance().getMinecraftServerInstance().getEntityWorld().getEntityByID(userID)

I could get the EntityPlayerMP. :D

To set the user id just do:

int userID = Minecraft.getMinecraft().thePlayer.getEntityId();

Sorry for the pre-mature post! Didn't realize how persistent I could be. :P

What.. That code would crash when you enters SMP server. There is no MinecraftServer instance in client side!

+ When you have to UPDATE something, then you should do that on the server.

      That means, you need to send packet to the server.

There's the integrated server though, which I'm not sure if it would count or not. The method is in FMLCommonHandler which I would guess means it's common between server/client, that or a stupid name for the class.

Yes but it would not work on Integrated Server.
