Posted April 2, 201510 yr I know the title is confusing but, basically I have a shop which is a GuiScreen. This GuiScreen opens when you right click the block (I have tried some things with the TileEntity to no avail). I really need to update the the coin amount or else it doesn't register. Any ideas? I am not a cat. I know my profile picture is sexy and amazing beyond anything you could imagine but my cat like features only persist in my fierce eyes. I might be a cat.
April 2, 201510 yr Hey, are you still using a TileEntity? or just a guiscreen like a vanilla WorkBench? And if you have tried something already, could you post some code of it? April 2, 201510 yr Author I actually figured it out. After an hour, I found out by doing EntityPlayer player = (EntityPlayer)FMLCommonHandler.instance().getMinecraftServerInstance().getEntityWorld().getEntityByID(userID) I could get the EntityPlayerMP. To set the user id just do: int userID = Minecraft.getMinecraft().thePlayer.getEntityId(); Sorry for the pre-mature post! Didn't realize how persistent I could be. I am not a cat. April 2, 201510 yr What.. That code would crash when you enters SMP server. There is no MinecraftServer instance in client side! + When you have to UPDATE something, then you should do that on the server. That means, you need to send packet to the server. I. Stellarium for Minecraft: Configurable Universe for Minecraft! (WIP) II. Stellar Sky, Better Star Rendering&Sky Utility mod, had separated from Stellarium.

There's the integrated server though, which I'm not sure if it would count or not. The method is in FMLCommonHandler which I would guess means it's common between server/client, that or a stupid name for the class.
