Posted April 9, 201510 yr Hi, i got a small problem. currently I use the AttackEntityEvent to intercept the left click of a player while he is riding a mecha, since the player is inside the mecha is attack by the left click. I use this to call a method of the entity to shot (spawn a projectile) but since client and server execute the same code two projectiles are spawned. How can I prevent this from happening? Any help and other solutions are welcome. It doesn't work, I don't know why. It works, I don't know why.
April 9, 201510 yr As projectiles affect other players, it is the best to spawn it on the server side only. just add a litle check before spawning If(!world.isRemote) { //your spawn projectile methodes } Projects: Discontinued: - N2ConfigAPI - Meachanical Crafting Table Latest: - CollectionUtils Coöperations: - InGameConfigManager
April 9, 201510 yr Author Thanks for the tip, but now I have problem. I use the PlayerInteractEvent for enougher weapon (same mechanics) but that event is client-side. How do i create the projectile on the server? It doesn't work, I don't know why. It works, I don't know why.
