Clientside I can do res = Minecraft.getMinecraft().getResourceManager().getResource(resource);

But how do I do this serverside?

I only need access to the resource manager to load a specific text file from the jar.

nvm, I fixed it.

For those interested. if you start your directory structure with a / it will take the root dir the base of your jar. Then you can load your files in.

try {
String filestrname = "/assets/magiccookie/structures/EntropyTemple/"+filename+(this.isInversion() ? (this.inversedInverse ? "" :"I"):(this.inversedInverse ? "I":""))+".json";
in = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(getClass().getResourceAsStream(filestrname)));
    	builder = (JSONObject)JSONValue.parse(in);
}
catch(Exception ex) {
}
