Hi,

i'm using Magic Launcher,

when i try to get Forge into it, i get the following error:

 

Missing class member: public B c, class: agl

 

The error appears on the Magiclauncher Screen when adding the mod!

 

Can anyone help me with that?

Ok after installing OptiFine magiclauncher says: "not compitable"

 

here's the new log:

edit: moved forge to top list on mod list, now i got again the error from the start post....

Try updating Forge.

I am having this exact same "Missing class member: public B c, class: agl, mod: Forge_1.4.2.zip" problem.

 

I am also using the Magic Launcher and Magic Launcher records one error with the Forge mod when it is added to the configuration. See the Magic Launcher log below.

Note:

I am using the most recent build of Forge (universal-6.0.1.341 for Minecraft 1.4.2).

I have tried the latest Forge build (minecraftforge-universal-6.0.1.345 for Minecraft 1.4.2) but the same error occurs.

I am running Magic Launcher 1.0.0.

Forge was added correctly to the configuration (i.e. first, at the top of the list, before any other mods).

When other mods were applied to the configuration, no errors were reported by Magic Launcher.

Upon Launching Minecraft from Magic Launcher using the Forge-modded setup, FML appeared to setup the mods without a hitch.

However, upon selecting a world to play, the game then crashes to a black screen.

In the log files you will notice that I have renamed my mod zip files, Forge_1.4.2.zip relates to the latest build of Forge for Minecraft version 1.4.2. In the log file below, the specific Forge version in question is 6.0.1.341.

I'd love to be able to continue using Magic Launcher but I could be convinced otherwise. However, I would like to think the Forgers would be interested in fixing such bugs anyway so I hope the details I have provided can help point out the problem.

First of all, a big thanks to Abe for filing a useful and informational bug report.

The logs point to a bug in AutoSwitch, not Forge. Go bug Thebombzen for that.

Sorry for the delay, I replied yesterday but the site went down and I lost the message.

 

Thanks for the heads up HMPerson1, I may go give Thebombzen a poke about the issue. Would it be okay to post a link on his minecraft forum thread to this thread?

 

Cheers rivvest, #338 seems to be working working perfectly! So happy to have all my mods back. Magic Launcher is still recording one error but I think it is just making things up.

Thanks Malivil, I just checked the autoswitch thread and it turns out Thebombzen has fixed the bug mentioned in this thread since yesterday. He works quick :) See his change log below:

Unfortunately, I can't test this yet myself but for now at least #338 is running good enough for me.

    • Hi! I've been running a server on Minecraft using the Prodigium Reforged pack on curse forge using the site exaroton.     • This mod lets you choose an element power, Earth, Wind, Fire, or Water. Also two secret element powers Light and Darkness. Each power gives good a bad things, Earth lets you dig through anything but ores and bedrock, Wind lets you jump high in the air every three seconds, Fir lets you throw fire balls and you are immune to any flame/lava but you can't go into water or else you take damage, Water you swim and break blocks under water quicker and you can get rid of water like a sponge but you take more damage when in fire/lava, Light makes you faster at day but slower at night you are able to throw light spears that do four hearts and can go through any armor, Darkness let's you be faster at night but slower at day mobs don't harm you but peaceful mobs run away from you you are able to spawn ink creatures around you that are like dogs but are stronger. another thing in the mod is that there are other dimensions that can get you ores to make better armor and weapons, each dimensions are are good for a certain element though each dimension has a boss depending on which dimension one dimension has more than one boss, each elements are required to defeat the bosses with each others help.
    • Read the posts above yours, it tells you exactly how to do it, instructions are the same if it's making a forge installation or a vanilla one, just make a new folder for the game directory.
