Posted May 7, 201510 yr im trying to set a certain things recipe for a block but i can't figure out how to make it diorite or use lapis here is a preview of it: GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(kierablocks.forgoten_artifact), new Object[]{" k ","lcl","ddd", 'k', kierablocks.kierablock, 'l', Items.dye, 'c', kieraitems.chalkdust, 'd', Blocks.stone}); Creator Of KieraCraft
May 7, 201510 yr Author is there a way for it to just do Items.dye.damage(3) or something like that to change it to lapis. Creator Of KieraCraft
May 7, 201510 yr no you have to do new ItemStack(item, qty, meta) I will let you fill in the specifics. How to implement it should be self-explanatory.
May 7, 201510 yr Author sorry that only works for the output item. im talking about the recipes items. Creator Of KieraCraft
May 7, 201510 yr sorry that only works for the output item. im talking about the recipes items. What are you talking about? I use ItemStacks to get metadata with crafting recipes all the time. I am not a cat. I know my profile picture is sexy and amazing beyond anything you could imagine but my cat like features only persist in my fierce eyes. I might be a cat.
May 7, 201510 yr Author thats metadata is for the output item not the input ones sorry. I've tryed it out and wont work on my end. Creator Of KieraCraft
May 7, 201510 yr Have you tried not declaring the Object array? I don't use Object arrays in my crafting recipes and I can use ItemStacks for input just fine. I am not a cat. May 8, 201510 yr thats metadata is for the output item not the input ones sorry. I've tryed it out and wont work on my end. You don't even know what you are talking about, do you? You can use this perfectly fine:GameRegistry.addRecipe(new ItemStack(Blocks.stone), "###", "###", "###", '#', new ItemStack(Items.dye, 1, 3)); That recipe will create a stone block using 9 lapis lazuli.
