Hello,

Sorry if i write in wrong category, and please move if you want. I want to install forge on my minecraft dedicated server (i run version 1.8 on G-Portal). On internet there are many tutorials, but they show how to install forge on local server, not dedicate. If you can tell me how i can do that.

You install it locally and upload all files to the remote server.

Or if you are using a mc hosting provider that doesnt allow uploading, ask them.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I can upload files, but what IP server adress i must input in server.properties

That is up to your host.

Dear customer,

just replace your Forge server file with your current server file (eg. minecraft_server.jar) and that's pretty much it. :-)

Dear customer,

first you have to run the installer file. After you did that, then just run the regular forge file. :-)
