Streamm
Hello ! First of all, sorry if my English seems a little broken, it isn't my first language ^^' I downloaded and installed (using the installer) the latest version of Forge so I could use Pixelmon. I run the launcher, use the Forge profile (I checked that it use the right version of Minecraft), and run the game. The Mojang logo appears and Forge is starting up, but everything freezes when it reaches " Loading - Completing Minecraft initialization 7/7". I can't do anything but close the game, and it doesn't give me a crash log (or at least, nothing shows up and nothing appears in the crash-reports folder). I kept the laucher open, but the Game Output doesn't seem to show anything special (still putting it here) [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Loading tweak class name net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Using primary tweak class name net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Calling tweak class net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [FML]: Forge Mod Loader version 8.99.124.1450 for Minecraft 1.8 loading [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [FML]: Java is Java HotSpot Client VM, version 1.8.0_45, running on Windows 7:x86:6.1, installed at C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_45 [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Loading tweak class name net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLInjectionAndSortingTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Loading tweak class name net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLDeobfTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Calling tweak class net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLInjectionAndSortingTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Calling tweak class net.minecraftforge.fml.common.launcher.FMLInjectionAndSortingTweaker [17:32:03] [main/INFO] [LaunchWrapper]: Calling tweak class net.minecraftforge.fml.relauncher.CoreModManager$FMLPluginWrapper [17:32:05] [main/INFO] [FML]: Found valid fingerprint for Minecraft Forge. I am also unsure it is a problem with Forge; it might just be my computer being annoying again. Thank you for answering ! Edit: I forgot to mention: there's no mod in my mods folder. LexManos
Post your log files, they are cleverly hidden in the 'logs' folder -.- Quote I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. LexManos
Interesting, shouldn't happen, there isn't any details as to what could be happening. As a hail mary try disabling the splash screen. Streamm
Thanks a lot! After doing that, it finally gave me a proper crash log : turns out it was simply a memory problem.
