hi all -i have of course updated to the latest Minecraft - but now i am not sure which forge i should use ? there are a lot of mods i enjoyed greatly that id like to keep using but idk how anymore - like the MOcreatures mod specifically - which forge would i use to have that mod work ? also, if using an older version of forge, is it still minecraft 1.8.7 that i would be playing ? thank you for any advice and please dont flame on me too bad - im very new to all of this -

Forge is currently on 1.8.0

There is no real benifit for 1.8.1+ so we are using this time to do some reworking of our systems.

Once Abrar finishes everything up {And I get back from Minecon} i'll be doing a 1.8.7 update.

For now tho, there is no reason you as the end user should care for 1.8.7 vs 1.8.0 Forge. All major security/bug fixes are in Forge directly and don't need the update.

thank you - so should i use forge version 11.14.3.1450 ? there are so many to choose from - lol - i see 1299, 1446, 1450 and a couple others - its crazy -

ok, so latest is 11.14.3.1450 correct ? and if so, i dont see many mods for this version - is there somewhere specific i should look ? a lot of the mods i see say that they require a much older version of forge - like MoCreatures Mod says i need a version of forge starting with 10. something - if i do use that forge, does it still play Minecraft 1.8.7 when i load it or does it actually play Minecraft 1.7 ? and thanks again for all the help - i really appreciate it -

ok thank you - it can get so confusing - lol - so, i load forge ending in 1450 which i believe is the latest for 1.8 - i try to use the camping mod 2.2 (which i downloaded the version for 1. but after i start the game and everything builds i only get a blank white screen - i can hear music but nothing else happens - do i have the profiles set rite and the mod just isnt compatible?

i have : Profile - Forge

            Version - release 1.8 Forge 11.14.3.1450

having a lot of issues with forge ending in 1450 - can anyone link me to the best and most useable 1.8 forge - im looking for one that is compatible with the most mods - sorry again for all the noob questions - and thank you for any and all help -
