I downloaded the current forge for 1.4.2, coped all files into my minecraft.jar, ran the game it worked fine.

Then I joined my bukkit server and after about 5 second it crashed with this error:

Well, Forge is incompatible with MCPatcher last I heard. If you're using it for HD textures, you'll have to work with Optifine. If you use it to install mods, try using MultiMC.
