jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Hello, I'm trying to set up Cauldron for an 'Attack of the BTeam' server on the Technic Launcher, but I'm having difficulty. I believe I've set it up right, but I can't be 100% sure. I've never done this before so I'm new to it, only ever had MC servers or Tekkit Classic. Anyway, here is what the console says when I try starting the servers '14.07 12:43:27 [Multicraft] Server stopped 14.07 12:43:27 [Multicraft] Looks like a crash, check the server console. jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 There doesn't actually seem to be a logs folder, not too sure why. Could it possibly be located elsewhere? Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 There was over 100 logs in the root folder labelled ForgeModLoader-server-X.log, are these the correct logs? Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Sure is. Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/31Zw9ECY By that, it seems that it's because the server is being run on Java 8 instead of 7, is there any way round this or do I have to contact my host? Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Hmm yes I suppose. I may look into other packs then, but is this the only issue? Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 I've decided to switch over to 1.7.10 (Direwolf 20) and use Cauldron, I'm getting this: http://pastebin.com/wMJr4wCK What's the issue? Quote
SanAndreaP Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I've decided to switch over to 1.7.10 (Direwolf 20) and use Cauldron, I'm getting this: http://pastebin.com/wMJr4wCK What's the issue? Seems like fastcraft is causing the error... I also see the cauldron server uses a quite outdated Forge version... Isn't there any updated version of the cauldron server you use? So either update your cauldron server (if possible) or remove fastcraft. PS: I used kcauldron to test my coremod with. Their version has somewhat updated Forge versions IIRC... jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 That helped a little.. the server was up for around a minute, then the console was flooded with messages then went down. Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 http://pastebin.com/EuwQQ4Vi - There's the log Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 God damn it how did I forget?! Right, I've done that and starting the server went on for much longer, but I'm still running in to issues. Quote
jCompton Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 I've already done that though and the situation didn't improve, would you be able to take a look over TeamViewer or is that too much to ask? Quote
SanAndreaP Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Show your eula.txt. Is it next to the jar file? Quote Don't ask for support per PM!
