[1.7.10] - How Do You Make Custom Trees/Saplings?

If anyone knows how to make custom trees/saplings for Minecraft 1.7.10, it would be greatly appreciated if you could give me the code or a tutorial on how.  If you could also have the leaves drop the saplings and a food like an oak tree does that would be amazing!  If you need anything else from me, like my code just ask.  I will be grateful for any response given!

it may say its for 1.7.2, but it still works in 1.7.10
