Can you run multiple versions of forge at a time

I have 1.4.2 with forge 6 something and it automatically loads mcp, would that make a difference?

 

No. If you really want mods with the older Minecraft version and stilll be able to use the actual Minecraft, look up for MultiMC.

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

really I just want to run some of my favorite 1.2.5 mods in 1.3.2, how could I do that?

Update to 1.4.2 (1.4.4 coming soon) then wait for your favourite mods to update.

Or use MultiMC or MCNostalgia to downgrade your jar to 1.2.5.

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.
