I have 1.4.2 with forge 6 something and it automatically loads mcp, would that make a difference?

No. If you really want mods with the older Minecraft version and stilll be able to use the actual Minecraft, look up for MultiMC.

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

really I just want to run some of my favorite 1.2.5 mods in 1.3.2, how could I do that?

Update to 1.4.2 (1.4.4 coming soon) then wait for your favourite mods to update.

Or use MultiMC or MCNostalgia to downgrade your jar to 1.2.5.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

    • I was trying to find a mod that added something specific, and was unable to find it with what limited memory I had of seeing it. I don't know why there isn't an option to include words in overviews of mods. I could see it being in the sort tab near filters on the app in my opinion. It might help someone trying to find something specific, only based off something from the overview tab, but idk
