Hello ! (Sorry for my english :/ )

Since I have updated to Windows 10, forge doesn't launch-

I have searched solutions, and I found that Forge launch only with java 32-bits. (But in Windows 8.1, it works fine)

I have no mods, no JVM arguments, I don't modded the forge jar. And I have the latest version of Forge ;)

When I try to launch it with the latest version of java 8 (64 bits), or with java 7 (update 75, 64 bits) :

Windows tell me that Java Platform SE binary has stopped working

In the launcher log : http://pastebin.com/6CZ46vzJ

In the Game Output : http://pastebin.com/zk3hB059

In the latest.log, there is only 2 lines :

[11:01:53] [Client thread/INFO]: Setting user: HeySora

[11:01:57] [Client thread/INFO]: LWJGL Version: 2.9.1

In the fml-client-latest.log : http://pastebin.com/vQ1FHneb

My PC :

Acer Aspire E1-571G

Intel Core i7-3632QM (2,2GHz)

Nvidia GeForce 710M

8Go RAM

Windows 10

Where is the problem ?

Have a nice day, HeySora.

Sounds like lwjgl doesn't like your drivers on 64bit.

This should be nothing related to Forge.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

Hello,

Thanks you for your answer !

But Forge is the only mod Who doesn't  launch. Vanille 1.8 launches, optifine 1.8 launches, L***Loader 1.8 launches, shaders mod 1.8 launches, but forge don't.

Are you sure that forge isn't the problem ?

Pretty sure, all of us launch Minecraft in the exact same way.

If someone who knows what they are doing wants to debug this and find out exactly where things stop that'd be nice.

We do do a fancy loading screen which you could try disabling, however either way it's your drivers who are the issue not Forge as we don't do anything that a valid driver shouldn't support.

Hi there.

I have the same problem, but I found out the temporary way to fix it.

Just disable your JVM Arguments in the forge profile and you're good to go.

What JVM arguments were you passing?

Sorry, but not working for me :/

I forgot, I still have the old Minecraft Launcher, is the new launcher required for windows 10/Forge 1.8 ?

Answer the question, and Forge/MC doesnt give a shit about the launcher you're using as long as it does it's job correctly.

If in doubt use the latest launcher.

Open Minecraft. Make sure you have Forge selected. Click on "Edit Profile" (under Forge selection). Select "release 1.7.10-Forge10.13.4.1448+1.7.10" for me it was the last selection in the list. This made it work for me. Please let me know if this works for you. Good luck.
