Hi there, I need a tutorial on:

how to modifiy base class without go in minecraft.jar

I thought that's what coremods folder are there for, but im not sure.

I have been searching for a long time, but there haven't been any tutorial on how to make a coremod, and what it does.

All i need is to be able to change how a few method works in netserverhandler.class.

and it would make it way more compatible if i can only edit that method only.

Wrong section, but the functionality you want is almost certainly do-able. What exactly do you want to do?

Protip: try and find answers yourself before asking on the forum.

It's pretty likely that there is an answer.

Was I helpful? Give me a thank you!

Tired of waiting for mods to port to bukkit?

You could submit a patch to forge that adds events - there's an article on the wiki, in Category:Tutorials/Advanced about setting up a forge development environment
