I recently just tried to install forge 6.0.1.355 on a clean 1.4.2 .jar, but it got stuck on the done loading screen.

Nothing else but Forge is installed,I deleted META-INF before I installed.

I would try posting the ForgeModLoader-0 but,none was created when it froze.

 

Strange thing is,Forge was working before I used MC Patcher. Even with a clean .jar it still wouldn't work.

There's nothing in the crash-report folder either. I also deleted some non-needed stuff in my .minecraft.No mods in the mod folder,and if it helps,I'm using Mineshafter as my client.

Any advice or opinion at all will be greatly appreciated.

Read the EAQ (http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,2429.0.html). It should be the 8th bullet point.

In short terms it says MCPatcher and Forge are not compatible. I suggest (and the EAQ) that you use OptiFine (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/249637-) if you want support for high resolution texture packs.

I started with a fresh .jar as well,didn't work.

Yeah no problem, just remember to install OptiFine AFTER Forge.

I deleted the .bin and the options and it seemed to work properly. All except there's 1 more problem,but this time I have a log.
